Welcome! to the Tacoma Rugby Club. The Tacoma Rugby Club was established in 1974 by a few brave men, who decided it would be a great idea for Tacoma to have it's own Rugby Club. The Tacoma Rugby Club is a 501(C)3 non profit organization and a founding member of the Pacific Northwest Rugby Football Union (PNRFU) and USA Rugby.
In 1974 we had about 10 guys and a bag of jerseys, today The Tacoma Rugby Club currently fields a Senior Men's Team, a Senior Women's Team, 2 High School Teams, a Military side from time to time and on occasion an Old Boys Team. Our playing season is in the fall and the spring each year, while the summer finds us playing in several 7's tournaments and hosting the Tacoma Aroma's 7's Tournament. Our home pitch is the Portland Ave Play Fields, located in East Tacoma. Whether you are a seasoned player or new to the sport of rugby there is a place for you with the Tacoma Rugby Club.

Practices: The Tacoma Nomads are currently practicing every Tuesdays & Thursdays from 6:30 till 8:30 PM at the Portland Ave Play Fields in East Tacoma. Our practices are open to players interested in playing with the Tacoma Rugby Club.

The Tacoma Rugby Club welcomes players with no experience to members who have been playing rugby all their lives. We believe rugby will continue to grow in the US and if we can provide the chance for inexperienced players to train and play alongside experienced players. Tacoma Aroma 7's
The Tacoma Rugby Club proudly sponsors the Tacoma Aroma 7's Tournament each year at the end of July. Historically the largest 7's tournament in the Pacific Northwest. This year our 36th Annual Tacoma Aroma 7's Tournament will take place on Saturday July 27th 2013 at the Portland Ave Play Fields.
